Virtual Gage ™ can be used with a multitude of inspection devices that have dynamic ability such as CMM's, Laser Trackers, Articulating Arms, etc. Virtual Gage ™ provides the ability to instantly measure a work piece of any shape in real time providing +/- tolerance results for true in-process inspection. Virtual Gage ™ will assist an operator to place an assembly detail into its proper location and tolerance using the actual CAD model in real time.

Reverse

Smart digitizing or scanning would best describe this product. Verisurf "Reverse" works in conjunction with inspection devices that support dynamic interfacing like Trackers, inspection arms, CMM's etc… Prior to digitizing you can define plane, grid or radial cross sections through the 3D CAD Model, the inspection device will dynamically pick up points only at the pre-defined plane locations. Another method of collecting data would be on a defined grid pattern, the X and Y points will be displayed in different colors.
