Cimtech helped Ellstrom Manufacturing of Seattle in an engineering project to manufacture Miss Elam's racing propellers.  The project included laser scanning of a stainless steel forging.  The result of the scan was a 3D CAD model which represented the stock material to be machined.  Cimtech also provided the 5 axis Mastercam programming needed to produce the finished propeller.  Miss Elam has won several races along the 2002 racing circuit - beating the Miss Budweiser!  Check out the races!
